I retired from the Army after 26 years of service in 2010. I moved home to Arizona. My wife and I are empty nesters. In 2016 I had stents placed in my heart after discovering coronary artery disease. Since early 2016 I have lost 30 lbs and got in much better shape. August 2017 I retired again. We served a mission to Mexico from October 2017 until April 2019.
total running time 37:30. ran to track then did easy mile in 8:21. ran 400 in 1:33(50,43). then another miles in 9:24 (this took at least a lap to overcome the lactate of the 400- first lap 12 min pace)...then another 400 in 1:32 (46,46). finished pretty slow.
total running time 35:06. taking it easy in part because I am running Satruday and in part because my orthotics are falling apart and my appointment to get new orthotics made is 29 Sep. Not sure what I will do next week?
