Lifted hard today and then Brown had us do a mile worth of running, skipping, and jumping. I warmed up and then did 2x400's as part of the workout buy my legs were not feeling good. I cross trained for 35 minutes, because my legs were dead.
While warming up I could tell that my legs were very tired and sore. I started the race and instantly could tell it was going to be rough. Fess was right on my butt which was also making me paranoid. Half way through I told Rob my legs weren't working. Over the last mile I was able to mentally get over what my body was doing. I passed all the Clearfield kids and the Andreasen's. It was a little off what I wanted, but not terrible considering. 2 miles cooldown.
Warmed up and then did a structured Fartlek on the track. It consisted of two sets of 10 laps where 200 meters were ran in 40 and then 200 in 50. Then I cooled down.
