Murray Invitational (3.107 Miles) 00:16:56, Place overall: 62 | | It was warm today. I warmed up. We did like 4 starts, which was ridiculous, people need to stay on their feet. I was pretty stuck in the first mile because there are so many people it's hard to move. I was able to start passing once we got on top. It was annoying though because Clearfield was gunning for me specifically and their top guy was talking in my ear half of the race. I did a two mile cooldown. | | Lifted hard today and then Brown had us do a mile worth of running, skipping, and jumping. I warmed up and then did 2x400's as part of the workout buy my legs were not feeling good. I cross trained for 35 minutes, because my legs were dead.

(2.75 Miles) 00:15:18, Place overall: 12 | | While warming up I could tell that my legs were very tired and sore. I started the race and instantly could tell it was going to be rough. Fess was right on my butt which was also making me paranoid. Half way through I told Rob my legs weren't working. Over the last mile I was able to mentally get over what my body was doing. I passed all the Clearfield kids and the Andreasen's. It was a little off what I wanted, but not terrible considering. 2 miles cooldown.

| | Warmed up and then did a structured Fartlek on the track. It consisted of two sets of 10 laps where 200 meters were ran in 40 and then 200 in 50. Then I cooled down.

| | Warmed up a mile. Ran three 1000's right on race pace with about 200 meters of walking/jogging recovery. Then we ran four 500's at five seconds faster than race pace with 70 meter walk recovery. I did two miles worth of cooling down.

| | I warmed up a mile. It was the open region meet at fremont, and we weren't full out racing. We ran as a pack over the first mile and then took off from there. It was fun to chase people down. I did a two mile cooldown after. I have started to feel pretty under the weather today..

Royal Run XC Challenge (3 Miles) 00:17:02, Place overall: 16 | | Today was rough. I'm still feeling under the weather. We jogged part of the course. I warmed up. I barely made it to the start on time.. I was just trying to hang on most of the race. I think I was 5th on our team at one point. I was able to dig deep in the last mile, partially because Clearfield was gunning for me again. I passed Ryan Searle on the finish which was good.. I just wanted to fall over after the race I was completely dead. I was third from our team. Rob commended me because he didn't even think I was going to race. I cooled down two miles.

Open Region Layton (3 Miles) 00:16:38, Place overall: 3 | | I warmed up and was ready to race. It was cool and perfect racing weather. Davis, Fremont, and Weber weren't there though so there wasn't much competition. Ryan and I lead for the first mile and a half because viewmont ran the first mile slow. I took third behind a viewmont guy and Ryan. I was pretty happy overall though. One month until state.. hopefully things will get better. 2 mile cooldown.

| | We warmed up running to founders. The workout was a 1000 and then after 60 seconds a 500,both at race pace. We did 3 sets of these with 3 minutes between sets. The 1000's were rough. Cooled down back to the school.

| | About a mile of warmup. Then we did 10 260 meter repeats that were about 150 meters of uphill running as hard as we could. The recovery was a jog/walk back. I lead a big group of guys. We did a 2.5 mile run after as part of a cooldown. NOTE: Davis was up there running the trails and we talked with their guys for a while, then took a picture with their girls.

| | I ran a mile in 4th period. After the warmup we did 4 sets which were 2000 meters long that consisted of 300 meters at race pace and then the next 200 in that same amount of time. Cruise intervals.. They were rough because I kept having to poop and they were just hard. Cool down after.
