I did this early in the dark before we left for spring break. I started out by running ten minutes easy at 7:16 pace and then 10 minutes at 6:14 pace. I then went on the track and did drills. My workout was 10x400's hitting 69 or 70 and with 2.5 minutes rest. I did a mile cool down after. My quads were really feeling the 10 and 10 by the last couple intervals.

I ran an out and back 5 miler while we were camping. The first half was extremely downhill, so I was cruising down, and then I was about normal pace on the way back.

I woke up with a swollen knee and it was hard to bend, so I took the day off from running.

This was a trial to see how my knee would hold up. I did fairly well, most of the run was on dirt or grass though.

I ran after we got back from the drive home. I felt pretty good, but sluggish as well. I averaged 6:36

I went out and did a normal 10 miler in the morning. It wasn't anything grand though. I wanted to get my mileage back a little since I'd missed some training this week, so I biked for 50 minutes in the evening.

We warmed up and then did 2x5x60sec with 60sec reco and 10 minutes between sets. I went 1700 and 1715 meters. I ran/biked for 15 minutes after.

Today was the grizzly invite at Logan High. It was really cold. I ran the 3200 in the morning, and was disappointed because I didn't run a well executed race in the middle because of the wind. I also ran the 4x800 at the end with Tom, Parker, and Jeff. I felt pretty fast. I also did warmups and cooldowns obviously.

I warmed up and was supposed to be doing some As Far As Possible's at faster than 3200 pace. My legs weren't working and my achilles was bothering me towards the end. I made it 600 meters, 700 meters, and then 1000 the third time, but it was way slower than it should have been. I was frustrated and did a cooldown.

Thought I'd be able to compete in the Dual Meet today, but i was still hurting after warming up for five minutes. Up to the booth I went and man I HATE INjury.

Cross trained with Zach for 36ish minutes and then went and did two finishes before helping with the junior high meet. NOTE: Why the crap did I keep running on it?

I made it through jogging a mile! I didn't race at the dual though, just cheered Tom, Lando, and Park on. Hopefully I can race the 3200 at Davis on Saturday..

I cross trained for about 30 minutes, and then strapped on the trainers. I ran two miles on the grass! Lindsey ws like, "First day back and you're already running 2 miles?!!" Ha sprinters don't understand that I have to race that far..

I made it through an easy three miler with the boys, but by the end it started to hurt. I couldn't really do the scheduled finishes. After talking things over with the coaches, I'm not going to race tomorrow because I don't want to risk missing what matters..REGION

I still went and hung out at the Davis Invite with Zach and we supported the TEAM. Landon ran an awesome mile where he closed in a 60!! We were all going nuts. Tom was running back and forth from Solo and Ensemble, but ran the 3200 in the middle of the day. He had a big PR, which was awesome, and then what was almost better was that he puked all over the new Davis turf. During the break I ran 2.5 miles around the DATC and was feeling pretty good. I did some fast 200's on the track as well. Feeling fine today. Watching the invite section was awesome and the free brooks gear from the cavalcade was cool.

Today I did my first intense thing at all. i did intervals on the track with the boys. Man I lost a ton. I ran an 800, 2x400's, and 3x300's. Just trying to hang on to Tom and Parker was killing me. Just trying to get back into shape though. I did a running cooldown and then biked for 15 minutes to be safe.
