| | I ran 4 miles on the grass and then 2.5 miles on a treadmill with a slight incline. My knee doesn't hurt when I'm on soft surfaces. I cooled down on the bike.

| | We went into Ogden to run on the old landfill where Buhrley made up this course. I approached it more as a tempo because of the way my knee has been bothering me. I mostly just sat behind Carson. Over the last mile I pushed a little and raced. It was very hilly though so the times didn't even mean anything. I ran about three miles after.

| | Coach Brown had us run the mile to "test us." I put on a show for the wrastlers and ran 4:53, flaps singlet and all. Then I ran 6 miles averaging 6:45 with the Robber.

| | Mile warmup. 6 mile fartlek with the Robber. Not feeling the greatest. Mile cooldown barefoot, which was a mistake because the aerated turds were hard as rock..

| | Today was an awesome experience. I skipped out on some of school and went to Riverdale to watch the NCAA Mountain Regional. The highlight of course was that the NCAA just restored Jared Ward's eligibility and he got to run. It was fun to be at a cross country meet where all the people there know how to spectate. I ran during most of both races spectating and then did some more running before, between races, and after. Today I realized how much I love cross country races and the people involved with the sport. After talking with Buhrley and Austin Costley, I am determined to run a race like that wearing a collegiate uniform.

| | I decided I've come down with a little illness and that has been part of the problem the last few days. I ran for 10 minutes on the treadmill and then biked for 20. I'm going to take some days off for the rest of the week to try and get over all these little nagging things.
