| | We ran to the Syracuse Cemetary through the neighborhood. Rob had us do this weird pace thing while there. Then we ran back to the school. Really nervous to race tomorrow.

| | It was the Herriman Twilight Meet today. Tom and I ran the 3200. I was really nervous to race and everyone could tell. The one cool thing was that the 3200 and 4x4 were completely in the dark under the lights. I ran pretty well considering I haven't done much. My tendonitis hurt a little, but it wasn't too bad. The highlight was that the boys won the meet!

| | We did a 30 minute run at about 7 minute pace and then did 5 200's that were fast.

| | It's the day before Region, so we took things pretty easy and just got the legs moving. Warmup, starts, finishes, and a brief cooldown.

| | I was mentally ready to compete, but it was a downpour and there was lightning. We were completely set up and all the teams were at the school. The coaches ended up deciding to postpone the meet a day. Landon, Parker, Zach, and I ran for 15 minutes in the school.

| | I warmed up with Tom. We were in Ihe slow heat of the mile. It went out super fast and we were in the back. It was around my fastest all year, which wasn't great, but not too bad off of very little training. Cooled down of course.

| | Tom, Parker, and I did a long warmup before the 3200. The heat really got to me in that long of a race and I know it did last year at Region too. I didn't run up to snuff. Tom went for it but died at the end. Him and Park both barely missed top 4. We all felt like crap after and Buhrley had all of us running in the slow heat of the 800. I did a brief jog after and tried to get some gatorade in. We didn't have to warm up much for that 800, and it was mostly just for fun. I was towards the back and just hanging on. Time to heal up and get ready for xc.

| | Went up to the school and worked some gunk out of the legs as part of the team going to soph region or state because Buhrley says there could be a chance he may have me running in the medley prelims.. We warmed up and then went through a lot of dynamic drills. Landon, Park, and I did a 15 minute run and then some finishs. We cooled down too.

| | I was totally wiped out from just getting done with the brutal AP Physics test, so Zach and I just jogged the loop and called that good enough.

| | I drove to Davis to cheer on some of my teammates that were competing in Sophomore Region. I warmed up with them as if I was racing and then ran around the DATC.

| | As soon as we got to the stadium, Tom and I embarked on our second annual run to the Y. It was a good run, but we forgot how brutal those hills are.

| | I went with Tom and Rob and we ran/hiked up to Ben Lomond Peak and back. I love trail running and doing stuff like that, especially with Tom. It was a fun run.
