I did a 30 minute bike ride early before we left for High Altitude.

In the afternoon once we were up there and had camp set up I did seven miles. 7:05 average, which was awesome!

In the morning we ran to Bridger Lake for a warmup and then did intervals around there. I did 8 1250's in 4:36 4:29 4:26 4:24 4:22 4:24 4:19. The recovery was about 150 meters of walking. I was feeling awesome, and the coaches could tell. I was really excited because it was probably my best workout ever, especially since it was at altitude. Cooled down running back to camp. Rhett, Jeff, and Zach were with me cooling down.

In the morning we went up to the ridge trail above bridger lake and ran. I went as far as you can about, it goes to where you can drop down into china meadows. I averaged 7:41 so not too bad considering you have to watch the ground the whole time because there's hardly a trail.

In the afternoon we did a warmup and then a GPS team race where there were three different teams. My team won. I also did a brief cooldown. 7:38 average for that whole event.

We did Red Castle today. Zach, Jeff, Nate and I stayed together and jogged most of the 11.x miles up to the top. It was fun to see some of those guys really cruising up that mountain. After the usual long break in the cold at top, we walked the first few miles down with the girls. It started to drizzle and I couldn't stand how slow we were going. Kyle Famuliner came with me and we ran most of the rest of the way down. Lots of miles covered today but most of it was slow.

The goal was to have a 60 minute run before we left. My legs were not working very well when I was running though. I ran for 35 minutes and then got on a bike for the rest of the 60 minutes.

Had enough long and hard stuff this week, so I figured I'd just do 6 miles. I started and was feeling really worn out so I cut it short to 5. I averaged 6:37 though, that altitude training must make some difference.
