At my old high school track I walked 2 miles as a warm-up, then I jogged 3 miles at a rate of 10:00/mile, then I walked 1 mile as a cool-down.

As I was completing my third jogged mile, I noticed some tightness in my right calf, and I stopped jogging (I had planned on jogging 4 miles).  Total distance was 6 miles.

On my treadmill, I walked 2.75 miles as a warm-up at a moderate incline, then I jogged 2.25 miles at a rate of 4.8-5.2, then I walked 1 mile as a cool-down. The treadmill said that I burned 850 calories. Total distance was 6 miles.

On my treadmill, I walked 1.5 miles at a moderate incline as a warm-up, then I jogged 3.5 miles at a rate of 4.8-6.8, then I walked 1 mile as a cool-down. The treadmill said that I burned 875 calories. Total distance was 6 miles.

At my old HS, I walked 2.75 miles as a warm-up, then I jogged 2.25 miles at a rate of 10:40/mile, then I walked 0.5 miles as a cool-down. The temperature was in the mid-90s, and my calves felt good until about the 8th or 9th lap, then they started to feel a little tight. My legs also felt good until about the 8th lap, then fatigue, and the heat started to take its toll. Total distance was 5.5 miles.

During my jog, my legs felt good until about 4.5 miles, then fatigue set in. The treadmill said that I burned 1100 calories. Total distance was 7.75 miles.

At my old HS track, I walked 1.5 miles as a warm-up, then I jogged 3.25 miles at a rate of 10:15/mile, then I walked 0.5 miles as a cool-down. The temperature was around 90F, and after about 2.5 miles I noticed fatigue from the heat. My calves and knees felt great though. Total distance was 5.25 miles.
