On the greenbelt, I walked 1 mile as a warm-up, then I jogged 5 miles at a rate of about 9:30 to 10:30 per mile, then I walked 1 mile as a cool-down. Total distance was 7 miles. The weather was only 75-80 F, but by the last mile that I jogged, the heat was starting to get to me. I probably should have only jogged about 4 miles instead of 5. There was also cotton residue floating everywhere from the trees. I should note that my lower left calf muscle felt sore several hours after my run, but I don't think this pain is in the exact location or related to my previous calf muscle pulls.
