I jogged 1 mile to the ISU track, stopped to jump the fence, then jogged 3 more miles on the track. I then walked 0.5 miles on the track before walking home 1 mile. Total distance was 5.5 miles.

I tried to jog outside, but after running about 0.75 miles I felt a pain in my right calf as if I pulled/strained it again (like I did on September 2nd, 2008). I walked for about a minute before running again, but the pain was felt immediately. I walked home for a total distance of 1.5 miles.

I was running toward ISU, and I pulled my right calf just before I reached the main campus. There are some uneven sidewalks in the vicinity, so I'm speculating as to whether the uneven surface may have contributed to the injury. I did run about 4 miles on Saturday, and towards the end of that run, both of my calves felt relatively tender (so maybe they weren't completely recovered from that run). When I injured my calf in September of 2008, I thought that I may have been slightly hungry, but tonight I was well hydrated and nourished (the weather was windy/rainy and cold at about 45 degrees F though). 

After I ate dinner, I noticed that while walking around the house my right calf was very sore.

I noticed that in the morning my right calf was still sore, especially right after I woke up during my first few steps of the day. Later that evening/night, I walked 0.5 miles while studying and I hardly noticed any pain in my right calf.

I walked 4 miles around ISU. I did not feel any pain in my right calf today. The weather during my walk tonight was almost perfect. 

After "cooling off" after my walk, I can feel some minor pain in my right calf.

I walked/jogged the clear creek canyon trail in SLC today for a total distance of 6.5 miles. Going up to the top of the paved road is about 3.25 miles. I walked about 2 miles up (so both of my calves were very warm and actually somewhat fatigued), before very slowly jogging about 0.25 miles to test my previously injured right calf. Then after walking some more going up, I jogged about 0.1 miles, before stopping because I didn't want to overdo it. On the return trip going down, I walked 1 mile, before jogging about 0.75 miles to see how my calf felt going down.

Overall, my right calf felt okay. There were a few steps where I thought that it was very tender/ginger, but in general it was okay. Going down, my knees actually were very tender.

I was going to walk just a quick 2 miles, but I decided to walk 4 miles instead, around ISU, due to my relatively unhealthy diet this past weekend (CMG, CV, Dan's sandwich).
