Thanks for all your help. But i do have one question for you? That race in Salt Lake is it a hilly course or not? Because according to the altitude display, it looks like a hilly course.

From Bonnie on Wed, Mar 26, 2008 at 21:41:41

Barry, I am probably running the 1/2 as a training run - it is mainly downhill. I know most of these roads and I can't think of any place that has any major hills. It is primarily a flat to downhill course. Any little blips at all will be in the first 3 miles.

Thank you very much. I think i will run the race now. I have not done very much training for hills. Thant is why i was asking.

Kory,

You can count on me running the Salt lake 1/2 marathon.

From wheakory on Wed, Mar 26, 2008 at 21:59:45

Told you Barry there were no hills! That it was flat and somewhat downhill. Sure you listen to someone else and not me :-) (just kidding).

I'm excited were going together it will be fun. Barry, I really believe you will do well and get under 1:30. Rachelle, said she would reserve the hotel for us tomorrow.

I also could use your help with something else. I would like to buy a pair of racing shoes for the half marathon and i would like some help deciding what would work the best for me.

From wheakory on Fri, Mar 28, 2008 at 17:35:52

Barry, your would need to wear them quick before the race to get used to them, or you could have major issues in the race.

Don't you run in Saucony shoes.

The Saucony Tangent 2 is really suppose to be a good racing shoe.
