Pain, soar and holy cow i am really hurt. My run yesterday really put me in the pain zone today. My pace was 7:13 and i could not run any faster than that..
Barry, I think you need to do some slow recovery runs for the next three days. Give your body a chance to heal. You did two faster runs yesterday and you can't expect to do that again today. That's just too much. I would do some runs in the 7:50 to 7:40 range at least for the next couple of days.
Thanks for the advice; I think I can do that. Also I think you should run the half marathon for the Salt Lake run and the full marathon for the Ogden.. Why you ask, good question. I think that running the half will help you run faster for the full. That is my story and I am sticking to it.
