Today i ran some of the course with Kory. I felt a little tired, but not too bad. Kory would take the lead and try to help me to push myself into running faster miles. I think it helped, because my overall pace was 7:17 which is like 3 seconds slower per mile than my PR. This course is not an easy course it is a series of up and down hill running. But i forgot to tell you in yesterdays blog that i have shin splints again. It is the same leg as last time and i think i have figured out why i keep getting them. When i run i put more pressure on that one leg than i do the other. So now i am back to wrapping my leg again. But thanks to Kory for referring me to his friend who is a massage therapist, i was able to get a full body massage and it think that will help my shin splints a lot. Then i went to the doctor and was treated for shin splints and stress. I think it helped me out, i guess we will see. Thanks for reading and have a great day!! :) (New Balance 21.75 miles ) |
