Today's run was very pain full. My quads went from soar to pain pretty fast. I am thinking i am going to have to go back to the doctor and see if i am starting to get a hair line fracture. My right leg hurts in the beginning and slowly and i mean slowly goes away to a dull ache. So i am stuck on what to do. I guess i am going to take tomorrow off from running give my legs a chance to heal and get ready for a ten to thirteen mile run on Wednesday. Anyway, thanks for reading and have a GREAT Labor day off..... :)

Nice mileage to start the week, even with sore legs! Sorry about the pain in the legs. Some rest may be in order and just keep taking some easy miles to help the muscles get some active recovery.

Thanks Jeff. I was wondering something. Why did you not run the marathon on Saturday? I think you would have done really good!

Barry there's nothing wrong with your leg. Your just sore because your stepping up your mileage.

Think about it before you panic... you ran 15 miles yesterday and then turned around and ran 8 miles today. You really haven't done that too much in your training. Your body is going to get sore at first.

Thanks Kory, I just get really nervous when it comes to running and Hair line Fracture. I am trying to learn my limits and keep praying that i do not over do them. I remember how easy it was to get shin splits and i am afraid of hurting myself even more. I hope you know what i mean. But thanks for the advice and keep up the good work!!

I thought about it but I would have been tempted to run hard with Kory and I am training to peak for the US Master's Marathon Championships at the Twin Cities Marathon on Oct. 5. So, I didn't want to burn out at this race and used the HM as a hard training run for preparation for my goal race.
