I was only planning on running three, but i was feeling really good and decided to run six. I think i needed to slow down and not run by my heart rate. I ran 8:57 pace with no incline. Thanks for reading and have a great night..... :)

Barry, your not listening to me I would only run three all week to make sure your shin is good. Also, are you running on good shoes? Bad shoes will cause shin splits when they have high miles on them.

I was just feeling good and wanted to keep running. But i will for the rest of the week only run three miles a day. Thank you for your encouragement. My shoes are OK i guess, I maybe have 200 miles on them. But i am looking for a light training shoe to replace these when i am done with these.

Barry, it might be that the shoes are not right for your feet and it's causing shin splits. You might need to got a running store and have them watch you run on a treadmill and they can get the right shoes for you. Salt Lake unfortunately is the only one close.
