What a day of running; my pace was 06:47.00. I did find out that my thyroid is not working and it is affecting my running. So I am now taking some herbal medication to help my thyroid start working again. The problem is that when I am running I am getting dizzy and sick and have to stop in the middle of my run. So I am praying that this herbal medication works. Thanks for reading this.

How did you find out about this, and are you still going to be able to run the Salt Lake Half Marathon?

Yesterday i was feeling sick while running, so decided to call Dr. Ward and talk it over with him. You know the NAET stuff. Well I found out that when running your body produces something called glycogen (An increase in glycogen stores translates into the ability to maintain one's pace during the marathon and delay the onset of fatigue) and my body was not producing it. Also the symptoms I was describing to the doctor sounded like my thyroid was not working and he checked me out and found out that it was not working. So he sold me some thyroid builder and told me that would help my thyroid to start working again, which would help me in my running. And yes I will still be able to go to Salt Lake next week. I am just looking for ways to help me run a better race. Also thank you for all your comments and suggestions.
