| | pm--5.75 Barrel Roll CW. I tried to push it a but today and went under 9-minute pace for the whole run. I biffed it once.

| | pm--3.25 First day of track. Small group of the commits. It's suddenly chilly in the afternoon.
I finished Art Spiegelman's graphic novel MAUS for the first time. Like a few other graphic novels, it felt a bit loose on plot and character.

| | pm--3.75 Tuweap w/ Abigail, Aspen, and James. It felt a little harder today. I've backed off my mileage to "build" w/ the kids, but my body feels better w/ a few more miles a day.
I will finish To Love as God Loves by Roberta C. Bondi. She is one of my favorite spiritual authors. Her work follows the thinking of the desert monastics from the early Christian era. Good stuff and a pretty quick read.

| | am--5 A nice Heights run before the storm, listening to Desire by Dylan. Oh, to marry Isis!
pm--4 Harmon's trail at a decent clip w/ hip activation before and fresh-swing-speed striders after. I like the form-style striders.

| | pm--7 I hit the snooze this morning and got out this evening instead. Found my way to SC Parkway for 4 x 1-min. pickups. I tried to incorporate the fresh, swing, and speed forms into the pickups. Focusing on form might've pushed me a little faster than intended, but, oh well.
I finished Keep Moving by Maggie Smith. This book is part poetry, part maxims, part journal and all compelling.

| | pm--5.5 Sluggish Anasazi variation. It was as good as always. 55 degrees while I was out there.
I finished Fools Crow by James Welch. Although, it took me a while, it was a great read and a nice examination of the intersection of dreams and reality.

| | am--6 Woke up w/ a headache, so I didn't get out w/ the team. Anasazi and Chipmunk while listening to Erik Davis talk about Philip K. Dick. PKD's stories are wild. The run had a bird theme w/ 2 Candian geese honking on a cliff above the river and a roadrunner successfully outrunning me. Decent weather before the storm.

| | am--7 We did some Igloi-style work at "lighter" tempos. Nice morning of running in the drizzle.
I finished one of the trippiest books I've ever read--The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch by Philip K. Dick. His books are mixed for me because they're thought-provoking and compelling, but they're also pretty heavy.
