Definetily a run to remember. I went up into the foothills till i got to spencer's trail(my trail), did that till it deadended on a cliff, turned around and then decided to keep going up. and up. and up. I came to this one point right before a really steep part of the trail, and stopped to take a breather. Then, I felt that something(not someone), very powerful was watching me. A voice in my head(i'll try not to get religious but i am 110% sure it was the Holy Ghost), yelled, "RUN"! So I booked it down the trail for a few minutes, then looked up the mountain. I saw 3 COUGARS up close to where I was. After that I got freaked out so i just kept going down. Ran into Josh Barton a priest in my ward, at a point almost at the bottom. I feel like it I hadn't listened to the voice in my head i wouldn't have come down the mountain.

Nice run. I ran up the mountain once and felt that same thing. I saw something come down from some rock things and I freaked out and sprinted down the mountain. It had taken me like 15 minutes to get up to where I was and I got down in under 5.

I believe that cougars are mythical creatures. Never seen one once in all my days of backcountry adventuring.

Dang, that must have been scary! Keep listening to the Holy Ghost.

i'm not exactly sure that they were cougars, but it was some kind of bog cat. I know cougars live in the area, not sure on the others.

Tanner, I've never seen a whale, but I still believe in them.
