Test run in my new shoes to see how things are going. 8 around SLC area. Pain is there on the down and the uphills. No so much the flat.
Made a contract with my friend stating that I would not run until the day of the marathon. :(

I don't think that is a bad thing. You've got in you what you need to finish and finish strong. You do enough x-training to not have to worry about losing the cardio. Let your body heal!!!
