| Location: Idaho Falls,ID,USA Member Since: Jan 01, 2011 Gender: Female Goal Type: Marathon Finish Running Accomplishments: I began running for my first time about 3 years ago. I remember calling everyone I knew the first time a ran 2 miles w/out stopping. I ran Mesa Falls half marathon @ 2:21 in fall 2009. I ran Salt Lake half marathon spring 2010 @ 1:54. Then I ran Missoula, MT full marathon summer 2010 @ 4:25. I was injured (IT Band) for Portland marathon (fall 2010) but went and picked up my packet anyway. Ran Ogden 4:26.... Short-Term Running Goals: Over the next two years, I would like to improve my strenghth and speed. Long-Term Running Goals: I WILL qualify and run Boston before I turn 40. I just turned 36 this year ~ Personal: In May, 2013, I will have been married to my love, Rex, for 16years. And it just keeps getting better and better! Two beautiful daughters. Emma (8) and Ali (5). | | left the house @5:00 perfect morning - cloudy, 60degrees @mile 2 I took my long sleeve off and ran in sport bra -all for 'free'dom day :) Ran a comfortable (amazingly enough) 8:32 average pace for the run 1:33:52 - did feel my i-t band...but I hadn't run in a few day or stretched...I was a lazy camper with a lot of walking and again no stretching. First three I was tired...gelled @ mile 3 1/2 then ran great, gelled again @ mile 8....last mile and half were tough, but was able to maintain an 8:58 pace :) very pleased with my run this morning- oh, dang allergies...my poor nose ran right along with me this morning! 1:47:43 | Comments(1) |

Ran in Oregon for the last day...rained a downpour @ mile 2-3...it was amazing and energizing! I ran @ an 8:20 pace with a time of 50:03 (my best six mile pace yet I believe) | Add Comment |
