Brooks Yellow Ghost 4 Miles: 5.85 |

| | Ran outside with Alana - it was hot (87 degrees). Stopped halfway to stretch out the side of my leg. Just a little under 9 min miles. We chatted about if we want to be a faster runner...maybe we need to start running faster! HA - love it :) really wanting this to be the last week of feeling my IT band... | Add Comment |
| | After sleeping in this morning...then the wind and heat for the afternoon...alana graciously hung with the four kiddos while I ran on her treadmill. I was able to run 4 miles without stopping to stretch...felt and still feel amazing! Ran the first half at around an 8:40something pace, then picked it up finishing the last half mile at a 7 min. mile pace. AMAZING feeling. Over-all, ran an average of 8:19 pace. So DANG EXCITED!! | Comments(1) |
| | Emma & I ran with Alana & Maya for the Firecracker 5K....the girls did amazing and held strong, passing many kids and adults with a finish time of 34:18 for Emma ~ so proud of how hard she worked and maintained! Everyone had a great morning. Emma ate 3 doughnut holes by herself :) We then road bikes from Grandma & Papa Tutti's house to the parade and back...went shopping at Big 5 for new sleeping bags and now for a rest prior to BBQ with Well's family to end with walking to the river for fireworks and back! WHEW - Happy Birthday America!! | Add Comment |
| | Ran outside...cloudy, perfect morning. Loop Freeman by river for the hills and back around my neighborhood. No knee/leg pain!!!!!! Feeling great - 8:25 pace | Comments(1) |
| | Early morning run w/Alana ~ we set out for a pace run and killed it with an 8:15 pace!! AND my leg/knee feels great!! will still ice before setting in a car to drive to Twin...so happy for a beautiful morning run! | Add Comment |
| | Ran at 7:30 this morning - cramps most of the run, could only hold a 9:12 pace. there were a few miles in there that were enjoyable, but for the most part - what a tough run. Glad to be done, dislike running when feeling so crappy - yet felt I needed to get that longer run in. Good news, leg/knee feel fine - stretch & ice still...keep keeping on! hot already, going to be a hot one all week! | Comments(1) |
| | Ran from Granny O's again - not a flat route, that's for sure! Emma encouraged me to run this morning...I didn't feel like it. She explained that I would feel much better after my run - just get out and go for it! So happy I did - she is so smart, and such an encouragement! 8:30 pace | Comments(1) |

| | Met at the running store to run with Lynette, Shelley and another guy. ran 5 with group and one with Shelley and then one solo back to the store. Pace was 8:21 and it was a push for me to get it!! YET, so happy for the run this morning and to shake it up a bit :) | Add Comment |
| | Wow...tough run. I just got progressively slower ~ it was hot (74) and for some reason, I had nothing in me to give this morning. The distance should have been 5.5 from my house, loop freeman and river to Broadway and home. I walked a quarter in - I was DONE. I will rest tomorrow while cheering on friends & sister-in-law Jill for the I.F. half marathon tomorrow then run 14 on Sunday. pace today: 8:51 | Add Comment |
| | it was a tough run this morning - first 7 were 9:08 pace...hard way then I was able to pick it up, but not too much. felt soooo sluggish :( overall...8:59 pace | Add Comment |

| | 10K with Kim & Elly - paced Kim, tougher than I thought to go 11 minute miles. Don't think I want to do that again; however, to be an encouragement to her the entire way was worth it for the day! | Add Comment |
| | Ran w/Alana, Gama and Shelley. Up Sunny Side 8.5 which gave us some hill and then back down. Back right hamstring really tight. Did ice bath and lots of stretching. Will just need to continue to stretch. I had to stop numerous times to stretch on the run as well. This was a mental tough one today ~ but really good to push through! 8:51 over-all pace. | Add Comment |
| | I'm really liking my "odd" distance times :) makes me grin slightly. Good shake out run this morning - funny - same pace as I ran 17 yesterday - YET a lot easier...nice and easy for my body. Praise God for a healthy body to run with!! | Comments(1) |
| | 9:11 pace, still have tired legs from Sunday. Felt good to be out running - start temp was 65 degrees and end temp was 74...going to be a hot August I think. Odd distance B/C I ran into Terry who I found out lives a block from me! I had her Boston long sleeve from our last marathon (I did bag check) so I was able to return it to her and not run up Grandview hill... |
