| | Beautiful day! Ran with Shelley, Alana and then Deborah joined us for the first 10 miles. Rex and girls were our aide station ~ ran out towards Shelly and back. Shin really hurt, but was able to make it. Had an average pace of 9:16 - for a total of 3:05 hours out running :) Tough last 2 miles...really hurt afterwards. hips, knees, etc. ice bath helped with that. | Add Comment |

all of me felt great ~ wanted to do 20 but my shin was really sharp and crunchy :( ended up calling rex to come scoop me. I struggled with walking around church - kept leg up, advil, ice and icy hot on the outside. Soaked in hot epsome salt bath at night - feels so much better! | Comments(1) |
| | Early morning therapy with Alana! Shin a little sore, but cannot believe how much better it feels today. I will stay on the advil and icy hot. Also, have iced this morning, I will at noon, after school then again tonight. Then I like the idea of epsome salt bath ~ how nice! | Add Comment |

Emma ran 1.75 miles today - not sure on pace, but she was strong. would take brief walk/water breaks then go again! We topped off our girl time together with soy steamers at Bella Coffee ~ I had the soy Chai :) What a great way to begin the two week tapper! | Add Comment |
