| | Ran with all the ladies! So grateful for Shelley, Alana, Lindsi and Alisa! What an amazing training season it has been. Was really tired from head to toe this morning. Didn't want to run with the group - but glad I did. If I had gone on my own could have been a ten minute mile average...really. YET, I met up with everyone and ran at an 8:41 average pace. Gary joined us for the first few miles - then was able to take off. That was nice too, really looking forward to being sub-four hours next week! I feel ready - getting a massage this late afternoon...that should be good as well! | Add Comment |

Utah Valley Marathon (26.2 Miles) 04:21:31 | | Loved the race - loved the support - love the company I was with before and after. It was a windy day and the down hill killed my leg. IT band issues again beginning at mile 14 (made for a dang long remainder of the run...it was a hobble run with many stretch stops and prayers that the sharp pain would go away) therefore, it was no longer a race. One day, I would like to run a marathon where I could run/race the entire thing without IT band issues. My goal this summer is to strenghthen the core and all my muscle groups. Lean mean runnin' machine is what I desire to be now! | Add Comment |

| | 9:04 pace, not too bad of a run - stopped to stretch a few times when I could feel my leg tighten up | Add Comment |
| | Ran 3 early by myself 8:47 pace then took Maya & Emma for a 2.5 mile run so they will be prepared for their first 5K...think they are ready to ROCK it :) | Add Comment |
| | 9:05 pace, only 3 stretch breaks today. Don't think I could have gone 6 - which is what I wanted, just feeling the outside of my knee too much to push it. I will rest it while camping this weekend then hopefully run on Monday ~ | Add Comment |
