| | first run after being ill w/cold then sinus infection for over a week! Alana and I ran the cemetary up three and down three (end of Sunnyside). My i-t band began to pull and hurt the last mile...then it was fine after stretching. | Add Comment |
| | Let's see...went out early it was cold and a little windy. With Alana and I ran the first 5 w/out feeling my knee...then it hurt until mile seven when we stopped, stretched and took a gel. It was good for another mile then hurt. I ran in pain from mile 10-11 and had to stop at mile 11 and walk back to car (another mile) where I hurt. Not sure what the game plan is now....ice, cross train and try to rest the i-t band...I know that is what it is...grrrrrr.... | Comments(1) |

WOW! Last long run and now into tapper. Ran with Shelley and Alisa this morning. My i-t band was naughty the last for and a half miles, but I stopped to stretch a lot and work it out. I feel great (properly hydrating helps I think!) Hard to say on time. I would stop my watch when I stretched... Shelley did not and she had four hours almost on the nose....that is with potty breaks etc. :)
