| I'm working a little later again so I didn't have time to run until after dinner. It was a bit cooler, only 103, but running on a full stomach is challenging.

| 4 miles up in the mountains above Kingman after work today. It was so much cooler up there but everywhere I ran was really steep. I'm going to try and find somewhere more runnable up there next week.

| 1 mile walk at lunch finding a nice place to run in the mountains.
I returned after work. 1/2 mile uphill 240 foot climb in 6 minutes then back down in 3 minutes. Did it 4 times all above 6000 feet elevation.

| It was a beautiful morning, upper 80s and my legs felt fresh for the first time since Tuesday. I did a 2 mile warm up followed by 8x200m at mile pace with 200m recovery jog, then 1 mile cool down. It was a good way to do some faster running without trashing my legs.

| Last night I was reading my blog posts for the 3 months prior to my Boston 2010 Marathon. I had forgotten how much I did in preparation for that race. It inspired me to kick things up a notch and start doing more than just running.

All while getting in live online CE and running into the office to treat a patient with a corneal abrasion
