| Today was one of those rare days that everything felt easy so I took advantage of that and did a few faster miles. After 3 easy I did 3 x 1 mile at 6:40 with 1 mile easy recovery then 3 easy cool down. Even at the end of the 3rd fastish mile my HR was only in the low 140s and it dropped quickly into the 120s as I slowed back down. Not sure why it was all so easy today but I’ll take it. Also did my core work.

| 10 this morning with Blake, 91 degrees. Blake has been doing all his running indoor on a TM and he was hurting out there with the heat this morning. We have done a lot of much farther runs together and I don’t recall him ever suffering so much. We took it really slow so he could make it.
