I ran out towards Payson this morning and the morning was beautiful! My sciatica was about the same except I can now feel it on the other side now too, so thats not good... It seemed to get a little looser as the run went on and it never seemed to get any worse so that is a good sign. When I  returned home I hopped on the elliptical for 20 minutes for some cross training as it seems to help loosen up things for the next day so I am going to try and see if this will help and if it does then I will keep doing it and if it doesn't then I will stop;-) My average pace was 8:34 with my HR average at 142, total time was 51:54, I will try and do some strength training when I get home tonight from work, no time this morning as I woke up late and I need to get going.

See ya tomorrow.

I ran the mini GU corner route this morning and it was painful from the first step, things started to loosen up after a few miles but it was pretty difficult;-( For that reason I kept the pace really easy and just seemed to get through it... I then came home and did 20 minutes on the elliptical and then finished up with some push-ups. I 'm very frustrated at this point I just can't seem to stay healthy, I don't know. I will see how I feel in the morning and then go from there, if things don't get any worse then I will continue to stay with the routine as of late and just do my best, thats about all I can do;-) Average pace was 8:55 and HR average was 136, total time was 54:30.

See ya tomorrow.

I ran the loafer canyon mailbox route this morning, I added on a little stretch that took me up the back side of woodland hills, its extremely steep and then I came back the same way. I kept the pace controlled on the way back down but the pace was sub 8 minute miles, but I wasn't pushing it. After I hit canal road I extended out to the old barn towards Payson to tack on an extra mile and then headed for home. Everything felt pretty good this morning I did have the usual aches but they seemed to be a little less today than usual, I don't know if it was Advil or just that I am slowly healing, I definitely hope that its the latter. I had a total of 6 hill miles 3 up and then 3 back down so it was a good work out for the legs. My average pace was 8:16 with my HR average at 148 total time was 1:02:12. I then  finished up with some upper body weight training on the Bowflex, high reps in each set.

Well thats about it see ya tomorrow.

I ran out towards Mini GU corner via canal road, my sciatica felt about the same as it did  yesterday which is good, so it  doesn't seem to be getting any worse. My pace was upbeat again which I wasn't trying to do, I had a couple of  MP miles in the there and it felt pretty comfortable so I think I'm on the right track, cross my fingers! After I returned home I hopped on the elliptical for 15 minutes and then did my push-ups and some stretching. My average pace was 8:13 with my HR average at 145, total time was 58:28. We are heading down to Lake Powell tomorrow so I don't know how much running I will get in over the weekend, my hope is to do something while I'm down there. We will be coming home on Monday, so it should be a fun time. I haven't been down there since I was a kid, my parents use to take us down there all the time, we had a boat and a motor home the whole 9 yards and we had some great times...

See ya tomorrow.

I ran in Lake Powell this morning and it was really nice, I had only time to run 5 and some change but the pace was up beat. My average pace was 7:50 for a total time of 40:01 lots of rolling hills so it was a pretty good pace for the conditions. Thats about it, I'll see ya on Monday.

Later.
