| Was planning and needing to run a 20 miler but after 10 I quit. It was 73 degrees and 80% hmidity...too hot. Still not feeling good running. I think I'm going to go for a high milage week and see if I can kick this blaugh feeling!

| It was cold today. 39 degrees with a 17 mph wind....Burrrr!!! My HR was doing something weird again today. I could tell it wasn't right so I walked about every half mile throughout the run, that's why there's some slower miles. After about 5 miles I felt normal.

| Finished my 60 mile week, running six 10 mile runs this week. The weather was from 37 degrees to 73 degrees. My legs are doing fine but my HR and cardio are acting weird. Not exactly sure what I'm going to do at this point. Callie (my daughter) ran the Phoenix Marathon today hoping to qualify for Boston but she didn't have a good day. My plan was to run The Woodlans Marathon in 3 weeks and requalify. Now I'm rethinking that and may skip it and wait for her to qualify or at least run a fall marathon with her. Still bummed I'm not going to Boston but I don't really see the need to just go run and spend the money without Callie there.

| Working down to my last two week taper. Marathon is on March 2nd. Nice day to run, I hope race day is this good! This run felt good but always the doubts about running 26 miles. :-( Last year I ran this same run 2 weeks out at a 7:36/159 HR so this at 7:32/154 HR looks good "on paper". :-) Nice progression on my effort to the last fast mile.

| Last run before my marathon this Saturday. Taken a lot of rest this week. My legs are feeling fine but my confidence is very low. Race conditions have turned to the better and it looks to be about 60 degrees at race time. I'm hoping for some race day magic like I had last year! Gotta run at least a 3:30 to secure my BQ.
