I ran with Lisa and Kris. It felt way harder than it should have. It was windy and hot. I didn't get much sleep last night. Maybe it was because my daughter didn't get home from seeing Eclipse until 3:00 a.m. Average pace 8:37.

I don't miss staying up all night waiting for teenagers to come home. I hate running in the wind and the heat.

You did awesome today, sore ankle and all!!! What an awesome family of runners. We must convince your husband to run a marathon, he would be so good at it! He at least needs to do a half!
Have a good 4th, it was good to chat with you for a minute today.

Thanks Kelli. And thank you so much for letting me borrow your jacket. Next year you need to run this one. You could seriously kick some butt on those hills. We'll keep working on Jerry. Maybe someday he will try it again.

Not a problem, I had on more clothes than you!!! ;o)
I need to build confidence in these short races, that or get over the fact that people will pass me and it is OKAY.
Have a good weekend!
