It is hot outside. I had my buddy drop me off on the way to swim by the Washington Dam. Running in the afternoon is never a good idea. I ran the first 2 miles just fine but struggled the rest of the run. Rewarded with some deep river water.
AM: Sluggish 3 mile run.
Ran 10 60 second intervals with equal recovery time. I ran fast but probably could have gone faster. Nice little run. I felt kind of fast.
Yes, I got my first race out of the way. I did I a lot better than I thought I would. Fun race. I want to run it again when I am in better shape.
