| Amelia and I drove down to Ashville, NC Friday evening after work. Saturday 7:30am race with a bus ride to the start line at Pack's Park. The race had a nice downhill start to the greenway along the river. Most of the course was on the greenway paved trails with a couple miles on dirt. The race ended in the art district and a bus ride back to the hotel. 55 degrees to start the race and 72 by finish. I felt good throughout the first 12 or 13 miles of the race and really hit the wall about 15 miles in. I contribute this to a short training block and lack of base miles. All in all, it was nice to get back to racing.
