I stopped briefly before each hard run. At 5.5 miles I did 1 hard quarter mile. splits: 9:35, 4:03, 9:27, 3:59, 9:30, 4:03, 9:52, 7:03 (quarter mile in 2:04/2:05).

Stretched at 0.5 miles and then a bit ebfore the mile had to re-tie a shoe. Otherwise, noce tempo run until 6.5 miles. splits 9:31, 9:03, 9:00, 9:04, 9:05, 9:03, 9:12, 7:04.
