decided it was time for speed work. total running time 47:02. warm-up 0.8 miles. then 7 x 400 with 400 recovery (1:50, 1:51, 1:54, 1:54, 1:54, 1:54, 1:52). recovery laps were anywhere from 2:18 to 2:27. then 0.8 cool down. need to lose some weight in order to speed up. I have gained at leats 5 lbs since I retired from the army. |
