Personal:

I retired from the Army after 26 years of service in 2010.  I moved home to Arizona.  My wife and I are empty nesters.  In 2016 I had stents placed in my heart after discovering coronary artery disease.  Since early 2016 I have lost 30 lbs and got in much better shape.  August 2017 I retired again. We served a mission to Mexico from October 2017 until April 2019.

it was quite cold this morning.  it took me quite a while to warm up.  I hit the turn around in 21:53 but finished the run in 42:31.  The mile coming back was in 8:33.  I saw a podiatrist yesterday and discovered that I have a bone spur in my left heel.  I have started the process of getting new orthotics and was shown new stetches to do.

ran midday when it was mid 50's.  turned around at 27 minutes even.  felt heavy legs during the entire run.  i worked for an hour and a half in the yard and it affected me.  total running time 54:12.
