I retired from the Army after 26 years of service in 2010. I moved home to Arizona. My wife and I are empty nesters. In 2016 I had stents placed in my heart after discovering coronary artery disease. Since early 2016 I have lost 30 lbs and got in much better shape. August 2017 I retired again. We served a mission to Mexico from October 2017 until April 2019.

No you don't know me.
I've been away from the board for a few years and am just trying to get back into regular posting. While browsing around I just happened across your blog and thought I would be neighborly by saying something nice.
By your profile I can see that we have a lot in common in terms of pace and distance etc. And I noticed that you are doggedly consistent (which is what I need to learn to do)... so I thought I might follow your blog for a while...see if it inspires me to get more consistent.
Also, your title of peds endo doc really caught my eye because I'm a pediatric dentist and in dentistry we refer to my specialty as "pedo" and sometimes "peds." We refer to the root canal specialty in dentistry as "endo." But I've not ever seen them strung together like that so I assume you are probably a physician or other healthcare worker of some sort. Anyway, sorry to bother you. Happy running to you.

Thanks! I didn't mean to sound like it was a bother just surprised as almost noone ever comments on my blog.
My son started running with Sasha in college and I got turned on to this blog years ago. good luck with your efforts!
