Personal:

I retired from the Army after 26 years of service in 2010.  I moved home to Arizona.  My wife and I are empty nesters.  In 2016 I had stents placed in my heart after discovering coronary artery disease.  Since early 2016 I have lost 30 lbs and got in much better shape.  August 2017 I retired again. We served a mission to Mexico from October 2017 until April 2019.

total time 91:20. it was 86 degrees and 56% humidity when I went on my run at 5 am. It was a very difficult run despite being slow. splits 9:49, 9:38, 9:56, 10:02, 11:09, 11:17, 11:46, 11:40, 6:03. average HR was 110 but I was drenched and did NOT feel well by the end.

treadmill run ... watch said 7.32 miles but it never changes the distance nor the pace even when I increase the speed on the treadmill so I start my watch at 0.01 miles and manually take splits at each mile. total time 73:22. splits 9:28, 9:22, 9:14, 9:05, 9:06, 9:14, 9:05, 8:48.

treadmill run watch said 4.8 miles. total time 48:38. I kept the pace really slow to test something and the watch marked a mile before I got to a mile using the treadmill distance.  after that I had to manually take the splits when I went from 6.1 mph to 6.2 mph. splits 9:49, 9:47, 9:40, 9:41, 9:40.
