Treadmill before the bus. Gradual speedup. (8.25 in 1:02:26)

Lunch run. Ran with a group of runners at the end that were going pretty fast, which wasn't what I was initially planning, but oh well! (4.31 in 0:33:16)

Attempted treadmill workout. 3 mile warm up. The goal after that was 14 miles at goal marathon pace. Didn't make it all the way though (8.5 miles at goal pace), and started slowing down. Decided to stop 3 miles early of the total mileage planned instead of risking a long recovery period... 

Tried a Maurten 160 on this run. I think I like regular gels with water better.

Greenbelt before the bus. Little sluggish from yesterday but not too bad. (8.06 in 1:06:19)

Very focused and relaxed run at lunch time. I tried to really focus on my form and maintaining it naturally. (4.34 in 0:34:45)

I became a member of the Honey Stinger Hive yesterday. Pretty cool!

1 easy, 8 marathon effort, 1 easy, 6 marathon effort, 1 cool down. (17.05 in 2:10:12) Legs didn't really respond to get to the speed I wanted from a marathon effort. I'm pleasantly surprised with the pace held on the warm up and recovery miles though. On those miles I really focused on a relaxed pace with focus on form and efficiency and went faster than expected. One thing I need to improve on is sleeping...
