Some gnarly rubbing on the skin by my Achilles tendons. Felt pain around mile 11, but it went away pretty quick. No tendinitis, just skin chafing.

Solid week of mileage!

Thanks! You've been doing awesome as well. This is my record mileage week without actually focusing on mileage. One time I did 100 just to say I did it, and that kicked my butt. It's been a steady progression to where I am right now, and I feel pretty good!

I did that same thing to do 100 a couple times just to say I did it right after high school - it feels a lot better working up to it naturally :)

any plans to increase mileage any more with the marathon a month-ish away(and half the month after)? Even if you don't beforehand it puts you in a good place for training after.

Time constraints will probably keep me about where I'm at now. Right now, a lot of things in life are aligned to keep me really busy (school, work, church responsibilities, and very young kids). In a few years, at least two of those things will be eating up less time, so maybe I'll increase my mileage when that happens. For now, I'd like to hold 80-90 miles/week for a while and see what kind of improvement I get there. Currently, my next marathon isn't until June, but I'd like to find something in the early spring. It may require traveling though.
