I have ran three marathons. SGM in 2005, Ogden in 2006, and SGM 2006. My best time in a marathon is Ut. Valley Marathon 3:59:46. I have ran seven half marathons, some 10k's and 5k"s. My favorite marathon is SGM.I have ran 13 Marathons, will be during my first Ultra in march of 2013, it will be the Antalope Island Buffalo Run, a 50k.
2008 SGM PR 4:02:23 The best is yet to come. Short-Term Running Goals: Short term running goal is to increase my four days a week of running to five to six days a week. Do more speed work this coming year. Bring my times down. I would like to do SGM in 4 hrs or less. Long-Term Running Goals: Keep up with my Brother Clay in a marathon, someday do a sub four hour marathon, and BQ. Personal: I have been married for 34Years, and am still madly in love with my wife Wendy. I have four children and six Grand children.

| Been one of those weeks that I really don't care much about repeating. Very stressfull with difficult challenges at this time. Trying to do my best to have faith and trust in The Lord things will work out somehow someway. I only had time to squeeze in a short run today, it is my hope that next week will settle down a bit and can get back into more of better rythum with my training. |

| Nice run around the golf course course and then headed up and back on the trail along the upper part of the river. Legs did feel very good today and was an enjoyable run. Started out a little on the raininy side but by the time I reached the golf course it had stopped and ended up being a nice run. |

| Nice long run this morning in the fact that it helped clear my head a little bit of the past weeks challenges and struggles. Lots of runners out today enjoying the nice warm temps for a change. Legs held up pretty well today and was albe to make some good strides at getting ready for Utah Valley Marathon in a few weeks. |

| My sleep last night was less than perfect almost none. I just could not fall asleep and I was so stinkin tired to. I hate nights like that, I think tonight will be better. I did the extended golf course loop today and added the side trail that goes along the river above the golf course. Warmest run of the year so far, 90 degrees when I headed out the door. The last couple of miles my legs felt dead, don't know if it was from the heat or lack of sleep, maybe a combo of both. Still a great run, I love this sport. Oh and I made it into the St. George Marathon again, this will be my 7th St. George only three more and I'm in the 10 year club. |

| Nice long run this morning, I did my usual over Harry's hill up to the round about. Then headed over to loafer canyon rd and came out on canal road where I met up with my Brother Clay and ran with him for a couple miles. Back to gu corner where I ran into Tom Lee, have not seen him all winter looks like he is doing well. He is still faster than a Jack Rabbit. It's been a good week of training and now I will taper for Utah Valley Marathon in three weeks. I seem to feeling good at the moment. |

| It was raining like a black going on flat rock when I arrived home from work today. By the time I changed into my running gear it had stopped and turned out to be a very nice run. The legs were a bit tired from yesterday's trail run, I don't know why after a trail run my legs feel out of sync and it takes a few miles before they feel like going the next day. |
