I have ran three marathons. SGM in 2005, Ogden in 2006, and SGM 2006. My best time in a marathon is Ut. Valley Marathon 3:59:46. I have ran seven half marathons, some 10k's and 5k"s. My favorite marathon is SGM.I have ran 13 Marathons, will be during my first Ultra in march of 2013, it will be the Antalope Island Buffalo Run, a 50k.
2008 SGM PR 4:02:23 The best is yet to come. Short-Term Running Goals: Short term running goal is to increase my four days a week of running to five to six days a week. Do more speed work this coming year. Bring my times down. I would like to do SGM in 4 hrs or less. Long-Term Running Goals: Keep up with my Brother Clay in a marathon, someday do a sub four hour marathon, and BQ. Personal: I have been married for 34Years, and am still madly in love with my wife Wendy. I have four children and six Grand children.

| My Son Bryan and I headed out the door at 5:30 this morning for our long run. Very nice morning and enjoyable to have Bry along. The legs did good and feeling well, we will just keep at it and hope for a great running year.

| Headed out the door again at 5:30 am this morn for my long run. Bryan came up and ran with me again, he is getting ready for his 50 miler in June, It was fun to have him along and enjoyed hangin with him this morning. I will do my best to get more miles in next week, this week was just to hecktic and crazy. The legs are feeling good, they did well with the extra miles this morning.

| Today I got back into my hill repeats, have not done them for a week. It kicked my little behind today which gave me a great workout. Very windy cold run though, but we got it done. Now off to Young Men's and Young Women's. |

| Nice long run this morning with my son Bryan. After hearing the rain all night long I was not sure how it was going to be as far as the weather this morning. It was raining at 4:45 am when I awoke still pretty good, but by the time I made it out the door at 5:30 am it had stopped had really made for a nice run. |

| Headed out to gu corner today and then up power house road to the river trail head. Made my way back down the trail along the river which made for a very peacful run, I was able to contemplate about things going on in my life and get some perspective. I know that at times the Lord allows us to have adversity in our lifes to humble us and to bring more in line with Him. As I watch my youngest daughter McKenzie struggle with some health issues at this time and watch her courageous battle with Chiari. What an ugly disease this intruder is, we hope to get into a Nuro-Surgeon soon and hope they can do somthing to relieve her pain and discomfort. Hang tuff McKenzie you are stronger than you think, Daddy loves you little sweetness. |
