I have ran three marathons. SGM in 2005, Ogden in 2006, and SGM 2006. My best time in a marathon is Ut. Valley Marathon 3:59:46. I have ran seven half marathons, some 10k's and 5k"s. My favorite marathon is SGM.I have ran 13 Marathons, will be during my first Ultra in march of 2013, it will be the Antalope Island Buffalo Run, a 50k.
2008 SGM PR 4:02:23 The best is yet to come. Short-Term Running Goals: Short term running goal is to increase my four days a week of running to five to six days a week. Do more speed work this coming year. Bring my times down. I would like to do SGM in 4 hrs or less. Long-Term Running Goals: Keep up with my Brother Clay in a marathon, someday do a sub four hour marathon, and BQ. Personal: I have been married for 34Years, and am still madly in love with my wife Wendy. I have four children and six Grand children.

| Nice extened run around the golf course today, the legs are feeling pretty good after sat long. Last mon I did 4 hill repeats, today I did 5 hill repaeats. I plan on extending repeats by one each week. I finished todays workout with some time on the bowflrx with some upper body work. |

| Nice recovery run today after yesterdays had workout, just enjoyed the nice spring weather. After the run I worked out on the bowflex lower body mostly legs and quads and hammies. |

| Nice long run today, however it did feel like the middle of Jan not the first part of april this mron. It was 26 degrees as I headed out the door, once I got going it was fine but it was a bit nippy at the begining. I ran with my Brother Clay for a while it was nice to have someone to push me a little harder than I'm used to. Been a great week of training things ae coming along. I have been having some problems with my lower abdominales for about six or seven months. They just get really sore during my longer runs, I double over when I cough because it kind of smarts a little. Not sure what is going on. I did have it checked a few months ago for hernia, Doc said that was not the prob, maybe a strained muscel. Other than that things are feeling good. |

| Nice run today, the temp was at 78 degrees when i made my way home from work. I did the extended golf course loop and added an out and back to the old bishops storehouse. Fun run and very nice, the legs a still a bit ahck from sat 18 miler, but they wel snap back in a few days. I hope. |

| Nice workout today, ran with my Son Bryan and we did the extended golf course loop. We had to fight the wind throughout the run with some scatter rain here and thier, but the the temps were very comfy. We also did 6 hill repeats, it was brutal but made for a great run. |

| Nice run today around the the golf course, I did the extended course today. My legs actually did feel good for a change and they wanted to go good today. So my goal for this sat long run will be a twenty miler. I feel like my training is coming along good. |

| Good workout today, ran out to mini gu corner today and back to the hill in the river bottoms. I did 8 hill repeats, push uphill for about 200 meters at 70 to 80% max HR, then jog back down and repeat. My legs are feeling whack at the moment. I also did 25 min on the bowflex, upper body. |

Nice recoveru run today after yesterdays hill repeats. My legs did feel better today than I thought they would. I want to top out on this weeks mileage around 45 or 46 miles, I am planning on a 20 miler for sat long run. Did not want to over do things and increas miles to much over a weeks time. I did do the bowflex on my lower body also to work on developing greater leg strength. |

| Today I did the old Bishop Storehouse out and back, legs were feeling a little on the whack side. Just a nice easy run and a beautiful afternoon. I will take tomorrow off and get ready for my 20 miler on sat. |

| Nice long run this morning, Not sure I was going to make it out. Kind of have a head cold or allergies, not sure what's going on, just not feeling the greatest. I was able do hang in there though, it's good to do hard things they make you stronger. Been a great week of training, accomlished all my goals for this week. |

| I ran out to min gu corner and to the hill coming up out of the river bottoms by my house. I did nine 200 meter hill repeats, pushed hard today and was felling very whack after todays workout. It did feel good to give it a good go today. I did my best. |

| Very whack legs today after yesterdays hard workout with the hill repeats. Plus the wind was blowing hard and no matter which way I was faceing it was a head wind. With every stride it stripped me of energy. But I hung in there and was able to finish the run. I will take tomorrow off and shoot for a long run on sat. |

| Nice long run this morn, went out over harrys hill and up wodland hills rd to the turnaround. From there headed over to mt. loafer rd. then down to canal rd nack to gu corner. I then did a golf course loop to home. feeling whack at the moment, it has been a great week of training. |
