I have ran three marathons. SGM in 2005, Ogden in 2006, and SGM 2006. My best time in a marathon is Ut. Valley Marathon 3:59:46. I have ran seven half marathons, some 10k's and 5k"s. My favorite marathon is SGM.I have ran 13 Marathons, will be during my first Ultra in march of 2013, it will be the Antalope Island Buffalo Run, a 50k.
2008 SGM PR 4:02:23 The best is yet to come. Short-Term Running Goals: Short term running goal is to increase my four days a week of running to five to six days a week. Do more speed work this coming year. Bring my times down. I would like to do SGM in 4 hrs or less. Long-Term Running Goals: Keep up with my Brother Clay in a marathon, someday do a sub four hour marathon, and BQ. Personal: I have been married for 34Years, and am still madly in love with my wife Wendy. I have four children and six Grand children.

| Very nice long run today, finally a desant sat with no hurricane force winds. I went out up over harrys hill today, the up woodlands hill dr. over to loafer mt,rd. Then down to canal rd to home. The legs did surprisinly well and hung in there for the most part. It has been a good week of training. |

| Hottest day of the year or run of the year so far. Arrived home from work this afternoon and the temp was in the middle sities. So I threw on the tank top and it was so wonderful to run without all the winter gear. I felt as lite as a feather, My run took me out past mini gu corner today and back. The legs did good after sat long run, after the run I spent 25 min on the bowflex doing upper body work. Good start to a new week. |

| The weahter was nice for half of run today, the last couple of miles it got cloudy and windy then cold. I did the extended golf course loop today. My legs were a bit more whcak today so I took it easy. Was a nice run though, enjoyed it very much. |

| I did a littyle out and back to the old bishop's storehouse. I had a head wind going down, but a nice tail wind coming back. It was a great run very enjoyable. |

Nice race today at Snow Canyon in St. George, the weather was perfect a little bit of a head wind coming out of the canyon. I did feel good through out the race today, had good energy and the old legs held up good. I do not know what place I had in my division as they had me in the wrong catagory altogether. Not sure how that happened, they had me in the womens 50-54 weird. So in that division I placed 2nd and about 58th overall. Just so bazzar, oh well.

4. 8:05 begining of the uphill miles through the Ivans neighborhoods.

| Today I did dome cross train miles on the eliptical, ran for 30 min then hit the bowflex for some light upper body workout. My legs are still whack from sat race but they sre coming along. |

| Nice long run today and great weather, I ran out over harrys hill and up to the round about. Cut over to loafer canyon rd, then down to canal rd, to home. The last 6 miles I did my best to run at marathon pace miles, no I will not tell you what the pace was I'm still very turtleish. I want to try and get my body used to running harder when it's tired this training year. Maybe I will have a real good marathon. Cross my fingers. |

| Nice extended run around the golf course today, a bit on the windy side with some rain and sleet. But once I made my way down into the river bottoms the wind was a bit calmer. I did push the pace a little harder today, the old legs wanted to pony out a bit. I also did some hill repeats, finished todays workout woth some upper body work on the bowflex. Then worked on the lower body to work some different leg musceles. So a good workout today. |
