9 miles in the morning 9 miles this afternoon Did both runs around 7-7:40 pace. My knee is still a little sore but feeling better every day. I just can't cut back to 60 this early. Will play it by ear this week and see how I feel. I still feel like I can improve between now and the STGM. Although I will not do any more speed work on the track. May just do some tempo runs as part of a longer workout. If I start to feel pain through this week I'll do less miles. I wanted to do 100 this week but will stay around 80-90 as long as I feel good. I need to use this time while I'm "jobless" to train as good as I can. |
