Did a tempo type run. Ran at 7,000ft + back home in Torrey, Utah. I ran at a pretty good pace. 1:02:15 for the run. I felt pretty good, got a little tight, I think I went out a little too fast at first.

To answer your question. I do not think it would be wise for you to run DesNews. It is not worth the risk. Halfs are good, the more the better. Also, add some timed structured tempos to your routine - 3-5 miles at half marathon race pace, and 10-12 miles at marathon race pace. Do them regularly under the same conditions to build fitness and keep track of your progress at the same time.
