Went boating with my family yesterday afternoon and spent the night on the lake.  We had a good time camping, skiing and wake boarding.  It was 2pm before I got to my run today.  I'll tell you what, the legs were feeling the skiing from yesterday and today.  They felt heavy and tired.

It was a speed day, it was all I could do to not quit.  I keep telling myself I could do it and I was right, I could.

Speed as follows.

mile 1 @ 5:39

mile 2 @ 5:36

mile 3 @ 5:33

mile 4 @ 5:30

mile 5 @ 5:27

mile 6  @ 5:24 pace for the first half and 6:00 pace for the last half.

Just glad to be done.  Dead tired.

I was pretty tired after my late run yesterday.  I found out after my run that the carpet layer was coming early this morning, so me and my wife had to move everything out of the house.

Man was  I tired when I started my run this morning.  I should have eaten something.  I've never been so hungry on a run before in my life.  I was shaking, felt weak all I could think about was eating.

I managed to get in 14 this morning.

14 miles this morning.  I slept in, didn't get started until around 9:00 am.  I've bee so tired lately with work and putting carpet in the house until late at night.  I did manage to get my tempo workout in.

6 miles @ average speed of 6:11 per mile.

Warm up and cool down at 7:13 per mile.

Last mile at 6:58

17 miles this morning.  Nice and cloudy with a littel rain.  A nice and cool run to reward a week of high mileage.

83 miles this week.  A life time high in one week for myself.  The body was tired, but no signs of injury.  I need to stick with the plan and bump up the miles just a bit more and work on that speed, which I hate, because it hurts soooo much!!

I don't know how you 100 plus miles a week guys do it every week.  It's all I can do to put one foot in front of the other sometimes.
