First run of my 20s, I ran with Jake for 9 rainy miles. Lots of fun, muscles felt like jelly haha. Great buffet lunch and dinner!

Started out in the back after a late registration, I worked my way up to 30th over the first 3 miles, I was working on 29th but I just didn't have enough room to kick him and some guy let out a monster kick at the end to get by me so I took 31st. Still a good race, I was a lot closer to Jake and Sage this time, 36 seconds closer to sage, over a minute closer to Jake. So I'm closing that gap, getting in shape. Loving my life, its nice to be home but I'm excited for suu again too! Nice cool down + Costa vida

6 miles of death with Jake (pretty easy pace but really hot) followed by 10 striders and then a half mile cool down. Then went to the dining hall and was mocked by all the delicious gluten, then a nap. I might go for 3 more tonight.

Good hard track workout, I kept with the group for everything except one 800m. And that was also the only reply I didn't hit the split for, only one guy in my group did though. Hanging with the group is about all you can ask for when everyone in the group has gone 1:55 or faster in the 800m and you're the only one whose come back from a mission in the past year. I did very good today, high intensity high rest is kind of my jam so I'm glad we did this one!

I helped Jake with his workout and ran part of his warm up and his cooldown with him

Ran 6:22 average mile for about 7 miles, 6.9 according to my phones strava. I felt really good and the pace felt easy, my fastest mile was 6:01, I was running past a lot of people leaving the football game so naturally I had to pick it up for my fans :p. Tomorrow I'm thinking of doing an easy 4 in the afternoon, finally get a 50 mile week in next week.

Also went on an hour long hike with Emma and that was pretty steep good hike so good day for exercise!

3 miles warm up after the drills and form mile so like 4.5 miles total.

Did alright on the track workout today, stomach was feeling a little sick. Still I stuck with the group and got through it and then did a 2 mile cooldown with Robby. Then weights were alright today. Tomorrow I will go for a long run with Jake.

8.5 miles of windy death, it was so windy, it actually was almost knocking us over at some points. When it was sideways it was hard to breathe, kind of like when your on a super fast roller coaster. Overall just tough run haha.

Form mile and then went for a mile with everyone, then ran 7 more with Jake and then we did 10 striders and the weights and then I ran to the showers. So tired. Tomorrow is the track party so that will be really fun, I get to do a rootbeer mile. And we are doing relays. I got 103% on my first college test/exam!!! It was for sociology and I'm happy with that! Now I will focus my attention on the first psych exam next friday. That one is tougher because its an online course. Note to self: never take an online course again.

Form mile and then a run with Robby, Aaron, and Michael Finch. The last part just with Mike because we did less. I also did an extra lap so that I could get to 8 for the run with the 10 striders. Then we did our 10 striders which were pretty tough cause we don't get much rest. I have a 4x600m race and a root beer mile coming up tonight so that's going to be really fun!

Root beer mile in 8:07 for 8th place, not bad haha. It was terrible and I threw up a few times but I had a lot of fun, 4 laps and 4 cans of root beer! Also did the 4x600m and I was at 60 at the 400m which is great considering everything, the last 200m I waned a little, the root beer wasn't liking it. Then I cooled just over a mile with Mike.

1.5 mile drills and form mile

3 mile warm up.

Workout today I did amazing, I averaged the 2nd fastest splits out of all the guys in my group, which has a total of 12 guys, a couple are injured, a couple dropped off throughout the workout, 5 guys finished the workout. Only Robby averaged faster than me so that was really good! I feel like I'm really getting in shape now, I'm still a long way away from getting to top shape but I am progressing nicely, and I'm already over 50 miles this week so that's really cool, probably going to get 58 or so for the week, I might end up with 60 though because I'm running with Jake tomorrow and he's at 10 per day. Also did a 2 mile cool down.

8 miles with Jake, I felt good and we ran fast, averaged 6:23 but Jake went 5:18 for one mile cause he's a jerk haha, I went like 5:30 for that mile. I'm feeling pretty strong right now!

I did very well on this workout in which I ran two miles in 4:51 and then 4:53, I'm definitely not just coming back anymore, I'm moving forward! And I still have so much room to improve, just barely starting speed and I'm still no where close to the mileage I want to be at in a year, I'm going to be flying!

Traveling guys and coaches are gone for Griak so I ran with Jake today, we did 9 miles and averaged 6:21. It was windy but it actually felt really easy, like around mile 5-6 I didn't know what pace we had been going and it felt like maybe 7:00 or 7:20 and so I asked Jake and he said we were going 6:05! So yeah easy but fast too! Took an ice bath when we finished too, it was a lot less painful than last time but still unpleasent haha.

Felt like a speed workout today so I ran 400s with Jake, I felt good and ran the splits I wanted to. Jake's has been running so fast recently I wouldn't be surprised if he's one of our top 5 guys. I've also been improving steadily and I'm really feeling like at our home meet in two week I can take top 10.

10 miles to finish another solid week of mileage that doesn't feel nearly as high as it is. I ran with Mike for the first 7.5 but he wasn't feeling well so he went home and I did a little more on my own, coming back from my little loop I passed this dinner thing, not sure who it was for but it had ice cream, it was really good ice cream, so that was another boost to the day. We went easy today but I picked it up the last couple miles. Oh yeah, I hit a deer with my car on the way home from true t bird night friday, that was exciting, theres a new dent in my car. But seriously I couldn't have even done anything, I saw the first deer and I slowed down to let it pass and then the next one comes out of no where and runs straight into my car as I'm slowing down, it was fine though so whatever. I'm getting into really good shape, I'm way faster than I was when I raced BYU so I think I will surprise some people at color country in 2 weeks.

Ate right before today's run because I had a date in the evening, my stomach/intestines were very upset, they felt like they were pulling themselves apart all the run, a few times I had to just stop for a couple minutes and lean over and let whatever wanted to come up out. But I got done brushed my teeth had a shower and had a great date!

It was more than 8 but we can round down. I did very well at today's track workout, it was high intensity and I still finished 1-3 on all of them, including 1st on the 2nd to last and 2nd on the last one. I've been very consistent on the track lately and I've been improving a lot, I'd go as far as to say I'm faster than I've ever been, maybe with the exception of the 400m. My body has grown stronger since I was 18 and I'm carrying less weight, things are clicking. Cool down felt really good.

Good run, woke up feeling like crap so I watched some Netflix and then went on a run on my own. I started out easy and built up to 6:42 for the first mile, I averaged 6:18 per mile and ran the 9.4 in less than an hour, all of my miles after the first were under 6:30 including 2 under 6:00, the run result said I ran 5:41 for a mile which is great! I felt good and really the only part that felt tough was like mile 7/8 I felt a little tired
