| Ran the Kentucky Lucky loop with Holly. Good first run of the new year. I've been skiing for the past few days. There's a lot on my mind, things and feeling that I need to sort out, I just don't want to do the wrong thing, but I trust God to help me make the right decisions.

| Just a nice three mile run in the morning, with a nice sprint at the end, feels fun to sprint. I wish there was a track nearby to do some repeats on or something.

| Went exploring down this canal that I bike past pretty often. It connected into the river trial system like I thought it would, and I had a nice time exploring down there and just running on some different spots than I usually do. Glad dto be alive and to be able to run and enjoy life in that way

| These shoes are getting pretty torn up on the sides, but they still feel good to run in. It was nice to run around the neighborhood here with Holly, I'm glad she's willing to do stuff like that with me

| Long day of studying and a test, but still snuck an evening run in there, which felt nice. I don't want this perfect weather to end

| I twisted my left ankle pretty bad playing basketball on saturday, which was pretty unfortuante. The first mile or so today was pretty painful, but it kind of loosened up as I went along. I decided that I'm going to focus more on running for a certain amount of time rather than a distance. I had 50 minutes this morning, so I used it. Because of the ankle, it was a slower pace, but still good to be moving for that long. Hopefully the ankle doesn't impede things for too long.

| Another 50 minute run this morning, it was nice, listened to a knuckleheads podcast about Karl Malone, he's a cool dude, haha. My ankle was still stiff, and I didn't really feel fast, but it didn't hurt like it did yesterday, which I take as a good sign.

| Just a quick 3 miles this morning because I had a practical exam to get to. It went well, and the run felt good. I'm a little bit sore, probably because I've ran more this week than I have any week since I've been in school haha. It's good to be getting a bit more mileage.

| Longest run here in AZ. My ankle is still tender and swollen, so I decided it would be better to go running than play basketball. I met with a kid named Cameron Seams who is a 3rd year DO student, member of the church, and who I serindipitously met on the trails back in November. I just wanted to run on some dirt roads, and told him a spot where we could go. He planned out this whole elaborate route, and it worked out great. It was a blast, the weather was nice and cool, and the scenery was serene. I hope you're noticing all the great vocab I'm using. I felt great the whole run, and the ankle was stiff, but fine.
