AM: Just an easy jog to about half way to golden coral. Im super excited for todays 6, 8, 1000, 12's!!! :)
PM: Today we did THE hardest work out in my entire life!!! The good old 600 800 1000 1200's. Whew! About half way done with the 1200 of the first set i was totally negitive and not thinking that i could even make it through the next set. But I did. It was pure heck though. One thing that stuck with me is that coach told us to imagine the guy infront of us a Timp View kid. So on the last one corey started to pull away. I just thought of that and gave it my all. :) Im excited to see how much better i will be after this run!!

PM: Today was our annual icream run. We ran to arctic circle and got ice cream, then ran back. When we got back we did team pics and called it a day.

PM: You know, cedar isnt my favorite of all courses. Im not sure why i just dont like it that much. I just didnt have the strength to bring my pace up. Im not going to let it bring me down, but build me up for next race. But i do have to say one heck of a job well done by one of my best buddies on the team corey for getting a freaking fast time! 15:43 is down there! I hope to follow his example in these upcoming races and get some PR's rolling.

Today me and a few from the XC team went out on themarathon course to cheer our old coach on. Little did i know that it was going to be raining and windy! Ugh! terrible. but a fun experience. I just grabed a quick 2 on the course then when i got home i took a nice long nap. Then went out for a 7 but realized i wouldnt be back in time for preisthood session of conference. So i got cut short on this one. :(

AM: My last morning run by my self for a little while. Got to test out my new neon green running shorts. muhahaha!!!!
PM: I had no knoledge of 800's today. But thats okay! I love 800's. They are the best!!!
1: 2:34- Nice and easy on the first one.
2: 2:34- Good solid push. Danny was right with us.
3: 2:35- Me and kimz watched danny push out his last one and sat back a little much
4: 2:32- Another solid one, just barley getting to the pain.
5: 2:30- Started our 2 second downward progression
6: 2:28- Pushed hard with Kimz.
7: 2:13- I started my kick at the bottom of the hill to teach my self to push when it kills!!!

PM: We got to the race and did the small lap of the race for a warm up, then hit the line. As the gun went off i got out infront with corey hayden. It stayed hayden corey me for most of the race. Then me and corey started to move closer and closer on the down hill and eventually caught him, then it was a battle on the track for first, and this time it was me. Loads of thanks goes to corey for helping me stick with the front group. :)

PM: Region today! I woke up feeling perfect. Which normaly isnt normal. Im used to waking up feeling the earlier work outs, but tapering is kicking in. School went normal, then we headed over to dixie. I watched all the other races getting more and more nervous. So as our race started jeff took the lead and kimz, hayden and i were following behind him. Then with about .75 to go hayden took off. I wanted to catch him, but i felt the urge not to. So it ended up me second to hayden and kimz about 10 behind him. Just a nice race. crappy course but fun race.

PM/AM: Ha ha well after region. . . . litterally. We went over to the pine view track and started our 3rd run-a-thon! My team was the last so we did 12-2 in the morning. My first mile was 4:58, and then the second 4:57. Then i went on a 3 mile cool with coach and kimz. After that we played soccer and some rock band and just chilled the whole time! :) Then my second time came up. My next mile was way slow from fatigue 5:10 then 5:19. After that we did the dash for cash. My first one was about :59 then 10 min later i did a 1:03. And that was it. I was wasted! THE END!!!

| Did all the normal stuff before a race. then when the race started it was awesome. yeah it hurt like no other but it was awesome! I followed trevor for about a mile then i took the lead. I never got passed while i was slowly catching timp view. But about 700 to go trev caught me and another kid. and thats how it ended. We didnt quite get state but we tied for 3rd then was ruled 4th.
