am-morning run. really tired this morning. Committing to get more sleep. pm-ive decided to do some of our speed/interval workouts with a different group(Alli brown, Jada, pyper, ness, mayc, Jenna) we had 4x4:30 at 5k but then we also did the beginning and ending minute at quicker than 5k if that makes sense...it was super good for me :) I was able to lead and be strong the whole time!!! Shin and right thigh were kinda hurting but once we got going it was easy to forget. It is weird to not go with the varsity girls on workouts like this. But, I know that when I am helping the pack and contributing to the pace and pack I do better and I run much faster. Plus I am gaining a lot of confidence. One day running in the varsity pack will be where I need to be but for right now I am needing to help these girls push themselves through the pain. And let me tell ya they push themselves hard. Good workout plus it rained a little so that was really fun :) 20+60 |
