| | Hello! I'm back from my 2 week break! I went on a lot of walks during that time. Tonight when the sun started to set, I started running along 14th east until I got to Blaine. I ran up to 15th east and over to Sugarhouse. I originally planned to turn here, but the sunset was pretty and the temperature was perfect, so I ran a grass lap in the park. Then I went home the same way. The whole time I concentrated on my form and thought about how excited I am for college. It was a nice run, 7:56 average pace :) tomorrow I'm probably going to run in the morning before graduation rehearsal. |

| | Ran up Sherman to 15th east and over to the gulley. I was going to do a few laps down there because it was cool, but then when I entered I felt like I shouldn't run down there alone, so I exited and ran up the curvy street by the gulley. I ran to 9th south and up to that little park, then cut over to 20th east. As I got to 13th south I decided to go up to 22nd east, where I ran to 17th south then down to 19th east, where I ran to 13th south and down home. I need to wake up earlier to avoid the heat because I felt really hot and dizzy while running. After my run I went to SLRC to get some new trainers :) |

| | Today I actually woke up early enough to avoid the heat! I ran down 13th south to Liberty park, where I ran a clockwise lap. I knew I had to run at least 2, and I was dreading the 2nd one, but then I ran into Sam, so I ran counterclockwise with him which was nice because I could talk and not dread the lap. Afterwards we ran up to 8th east, where Sam went home and I continued up to 14th east and home. It was a good run because I was wearing my purple tank top with bright pink spankies and orange shoes, so yeah I guess you could say that I'm a barbie! |

| | Didn't run yesterday because I had to work early and woke up late. Today Susannah and I went up to Pipeline to run. I just ran 2.5 out and 2.5 back. As we were leaving, the East kids were arriving. Then I remembered that they were going up there today. I didn't like all the death glares I got, thanks guys. |

| | Today Mom and I went to Liberty because it's flat and cool there. I ran 2 counterclockwise laps on the outer trail by the woodchips and 2 clockwise laps. The first 3 miles my body would not warm up and I was dying at an 8:30 pace, but after that I stretched for a minute at the drinking fountain and started again, and I was able to hold a 7:40 pace the rest of my run. |

| | Today I woke up early to go say goodbye to Veronica because she flies back to Italy today :( I'm gonna miss her. Later I was feeling sad, so I decided to go run. I ran along 13th east to South Temple, down to 7th east to Liberty park, and stopped at the drinking fountain. I stretched for a minute before running up 13th south to home. I felt a lot better after running, but I still really miss Vero. :( |

| | Girls camp! I was originally not going to run or worry about it, but Claire wanted to run at least 20 minutes each day, so we woke up the same time as everyone else and skipped the morning fire starters to go jog 20 minutes. I just wore my old pink trainers, my hiking shoes. |

| | Claire and I skipped the fire starter again to do another 20 minute jog. It was great! |

| | You've probably noticed something by now: my ward does not like fire starters. It's an easier way for Claire and I to do our 20 minutes. |

| | This morning my Mom and I went to Draper Park, where we met up with Kiley and Anissa! Mom and Anissa walked while Kiley and I ran 3.5 out and 3.5 back. On the last 1.25 mile we did 6 40 second strides with a jog, which really helped loosen me up after low miles. When I got home I did some crunches and stretched. I'm going to get that 6 pac eventually. |

| | Today I ran from my house to Sunnyside and ran a lap. I ran into Eliza on her bike and got to talk to her a little :) Next I went down to the East track where I ran another mile and a half. After that I did 3x30 sets of crunches, 3x30 second planks, 3x10 sets of girl pushups, and 3x10 sets of lunges. After that I ran back up to Sunnyside and did another lap then ran back along 17th east, where I ran into Kate and Sierra and had a nice conversation with them :) When I got home I did some medicine ball drills and stretched out with some Yoga:) |

Today, Kenzie and Emily came to Salt Lake to run with me :) I couldn't think of a good run, so we just sort of made it up as we went along. We went up 15th east to the gulley and ran a lap and a half in there, exiting at the top. We went over to Sunnyside where we saw the East kids. We ran a lap before going over and saying hi, then we continued our adventure. We ran up Sunnyside Ave to Foothill where we turned left and ran the VA loop and back along Guardsman to 9th south, where we went up to 17th east to 13th south and back down to my house. Then we went to breakfast and did nails :) Later this afternoon I did 3x30 crunches, 10 girly pushups, 3x30 second leg lifts, and then stretched. It was grand. |
